This project includes the evaluation of A and B blocks in terms of structural design within the scope of Cubes Ankara Project.

 

The current structure design was examined through the relevant calculation reports and drawings. Due to the nature of high-rise buildings and slenderness in the transverse direction, it was necessary to make up an independent finite element model in order to use for structural analysis.

 

When the height, stiffness and geometry of the buildings are taken into consideration, it is seen that they are sensitive to wind effects. The report submitted by EDS, which performs the wind tunnel tests of the buildings, has been taken into consideration in the evaluation of comfort conditions during the use of the buildings.

However, wind loads were calculated according to TS EN 1991-1-4 and structural element checks were performed with the help of independent analysis  model.
