The responsibilities of this position:

  • Perform structural engineering design, including preparation and validation of engineering calculations and design sketches for steel and concrete structures. Validation of structural drawings.

  • Prepare structural calculations and drawings based on latest building codes and industry standards, structural MTOs, scope of work documents, and other engineering deliverables

  • Prepare/review specifications and reports

  • Supervise, guide and mentor junior and intermediate designers and/or engineers

Minimum Requirements

  • BS in Structural/Civil Engineering,

  • MSc in Structural Engineering / Mechanical Engineering

  • 8+ years of experience in structural design.

  • Proficient in VBA

Preferred Qualifications

  • PhD in Structural Engineering

  • Ability to independently execute the detailed design of complex steel and/or concrete structures.

  • Experience in design of steel structures

  • Strong knowledge of, ASCE 7, AISC 360-16, ACI-318-14, ASCE 41

  • Proficient with structural analysis software SAP2000, and 3D FEA.

  • Proficient in Python

  • Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
